Seeking Guidance and Connections for Wholesaling in NY/NJ

Hi BiggerPockets Community,

My name is Dana, and I’m currently diving into the world of real estate investing with a focus on wholesaling in the New York and New Jersey markets. I’m looking to connect with experienced investors who are actively buying in these areas, as well as get advice on the best strategies and platforms for sourcing off-market properties.

Specifically, I’d love insight on:

  • Where wholesalers in NY/NJ are currently finding leads (marketing channels, platforms, etc.)

  • How to navigate the unique legal and market challenges of wholesaling in these states

  • Investors who are open to JV opportunities or purchasing wholesale deals

  • Any recommended local resources, networks, or events that would help me grow

I’m serious about building solid relationships, learning the ropes, and adding value wherever I can. If you’re open to connecting, sharing tips, or potentially working together, I’d really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance, and I look forward to learning from and contributing to the community!
