Marketing Limitations for Wholesalers

I would love to get some input on the marketing limitations for wholesalers. And since I am guessing that it varies by state, I would especially love to hear from folks in Orange County, CA, Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Dallas and Houston. If you're not from these areas, feel free to chime in anyway.
