Who owns this house?
A lady called this morning wanting to sell a property she owns but when I pulled up the address on the tax appraisal website it says that it's owned by First National Acceptance Company.
She said that she bought it from someone who is carrying the note. She said that the house wasn't being foreclosed or anything but that she was going to pay two months worth of payments in the mail today unless she sold it.
Is this a case where the note holder stopped paying on the note and the bank foreclosed? Or, is she giving me the run around?
