Is there a rule of thumb for when you should use Assigned closing vs back to back? In what situations are the better closing strategy?

My philosophy is if I'm making more than $10,000 on a deal I do a back to back double close because I don't want the buyer or seller to know how much I'm making. Yes it costs more but it is worth it. When I make less then I'll assign the contract to my buyer and have them sign a 1 page Assignment Agreement. The buyer closes directly with the seller and the title company pays me my assignment fee.
