Purchase a home from a taxbuyer

I found a motivated seller who wasn’t aware that someone has been paying taxes on their home for the past 5 years. I then found the tax buyer and contacted her and she said she wasn’t going to let anyone redeem the property tax even though over the past years she’d never had the property put in her name. At this moment is it too late for me to still get a contract on this property just dealing with the people who currently live in the property ?

@Ahmad Darensbourg if the taxes are current, whoever is listed on the deed is the legal owner. Thus, the legal owner can sell the property.
