First potential wholesale deal

I would like to start wholesaling to help with my down payment to expand my portfolio.  I've been on BP reading articles and watching webinars on how to start but just haven't pulled the trigger on a deal yet.  I was looking for someone in jacksonville, FL that wouldn't mind taking on a mentee or can just give me some advice on how to start in my area. Any comments or advice would be greatly welcome.

@Duane Dyson There are literally thousands of posts here on BP that discuss the issue of getting started. Wholesaling is essentially marketing to potential sellers, negotiating on price and terms, analyzing the comps, the rehab costs and any other factors to help determine if you have a deal and then what you need to get the property under contract for and what you can sell the contract for. Obviously there are a lot more intricate details but thats the high level view. I tell a lot of aspiring wholesalers that if they arent ready to jump in and get started then they should bird dog for other wholesalers or investors first and learn the process.
