Hey @Will Fraser, thanks for the warm welcome!

Gotcha, that makes sense. The LLC/partnership would act as the legal entity holding and investing the money, making obligations only up the amount in the fund, does that sound correct?

So can OPM be held in a fund or bank account that would be under the LLC/partnership, then the promissory note would spell out the terms of repayment to the investors in the LLC/partnership?

Pretty new to BP, but wanted to put this question out there, I am sure there are already answers out there, but this seems like a good place to start.

As stated above, I am wondering what needs to be put in place logistically when using OPM, especially if we were to borrow from more than 1 private lender. Would a partnership need to be formed, where our investors are in a Limited Partnership and we are the GP? Just a thought, but would love to get a discussion started on this.

@Amanda G. Hey Amanda, Thank you for your reply, I appreciate it. Both my father and uncle invest in their respective areas. I am planning on driving for dollars, and doing some door knocking soon. Also, how would you explain a "bird dog"? Adam

Looking for advice and insight into WHOLESALING. I am looking to wholesaling as a way for me to pay for schooling, so there is my motivation. I have mainly been working towards gaining context and shadowing my father and uncle, now I need to take action. Again, would like advice/insight.
