I am a new member, recently moved back to MA I am looking to get started investing through buy and hold properties
that is a ton of houses!! It sounds like a lot of information is shared and that's exactly what I need.
oh wow, ok that sounds interesting, thank you!
@Mike Hurney the more I hear about it the more excited I get, I am looking forward to learning more about it and getting started!
thank you both, I will look into the meet ups. @Lydia S. do you have any tips or advice for bird dogging? I have been researching it and have a pretty good idea of what it's all about but any first hand experience advice would be great. @Shaun Reilly I appreciate the input and I look forward to going to some meet ups.
@Lydia S. Thank you for the advice! To clarify further, I know I can qualify it's just the funds for a down payment that is holding me back at the moment. Also I plan to buy and hold.
Any advice on how to get into the bird-dogging scene? That sounds like something I would be interested in. Also I will look into those other financing options.
I am looking to get started in real estate investing in the North Shore area. I have a good idea of what the market looks like, the only thing that is holding me back is financing. I don't have enough savings to get started just yet but my question is any tips on finding mortgages that will best suit a new investor. I have owned property before so any new homebuyer deals will not apply to me and it will not be an owner occupied. Any tips or help looking in the right places for mortgages or any other options would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
I am looking to start building my portfolio. I am interested in multi-family homes but it is looking like due to financing and the market that might not be possible right now. I was looking at buying and renting out apartments or condo's. What are some things I need to look at and consider if I chose to go this route? any advice would be greatly appreciated.
What are the best options for mortgages when looking to buy investment properties? I have heard of people having very little money but being able to get a loan and start building their portfolio, is this a myth?
