I'm a first time investor and I was wondering if I can use my traditional IRA with Fidelity to invest in Real Estate? There is an opportunity I'm looking into but it seems when I research on line about using my IRA it seems that it's a difficult thing to do. Do any of you have experience in that? Any advice would be appreciated.

I watched one of the real estate “Guru” infomercials and was hooked! excepted I couldn’t spend all that money. I started going down the web rabbit hole and discovered BP! I am REALLY a newbie. I’m half way through “The Book on Rental Property Investing” by Brandon Turner. I’d like to connect with local people to learn and get some guidance. Any local meetings or any recommendations would be appreciated! I have some capital to invest (not much) but would like to get started. I’m even thinking about getting my license, making this a career. I do have a full time (and then some) job that pays well but I’m no longer passionate about. Real Estate Investing is exciting to me and I don’t mind putting in the work! I’m a sales manager so talking to people and problem solving is what I do! Hope to make this a successful journey with your help.
