@Jintu Philip just to caveat on what everyone is saying, a neighborhood can turn from C to D with just one left or right turn. Killeen has those pockets. You can't trust Satellite view neither. Like what @Ryan Kelly mentioned, you really need to drive and get a feel for the area.

Hope this helps! I wish you the best in your investing journey.

@Rik Hunter First off, congratulations! That is an awesome start. I'm no expert as well but maybe I can point you in the right direction.

1. I don't see why you can't. In essence, it is a refinance. You're changing the terms of the mortgage. I recommend contacting your community banks and shop around. I would always use local banks because they are competitive with their rates. Ask to speak with their VA representative and he/she could point you in the right direction.

2. A refinance would typically require an appraisal. It would most likely be out of your pocket.

3. Most importantly, what are your goals with this property? There are fees associated with when you refinance. That said, find out how long would it take for the new terms of the mortgage to recoup the fees you paid.

I hope this helps. I wish you the best in your investing journey!

@Collin Schwartz Thank you for posting your story. It seems like an amazing journey. Sharing your story and providing tips along the way really helps out those who want to learn. I've done most of what you mentioned except I'm lagging on the networking part (which as you mentioned, happens to be the most important one). Can I ask, what do you specifically do when you contact people? Is it to, partner, be mentored, look for deals..?

Thank you again! Good luck on your investing journey!

@David A. I'm glad you mentioned this. I placed 10 offers in 2 months and I always get outbid. Still on the hunt though.

I wish you the best in your investing journey!

@Angel Amara hello! Sorry for the late response. Do you mind if I ask where do you operate?

@Jason McVey Thank you for bringing this topic up. I have a full-time job and this sounds like an excellent way to leverage time. I'm late in the conversation but am curious about how the app has worked for you? Would you mind sharing your experience?

@Greg Dickerson have you found the application useful?
