Am trying to remotely manage my recently purchased duplex in Cleveland OH and will need general contractors as part of building my team. Can investors and realtors in Cleveland OH suggest any general contractors to me?

@John Koster So water and sewer is already factored into the tenant’s rent?

I purchased my first SFH in Cleveland last month and also closed on a duplex today in the same Cleveland metro area. I see that in Cleveland when it comes to water and sewer, even if they're put in the tenant's name, they're ultimately the responsibility of the owner. And, in the event that the tenant doesn't pay, that can stick to the owner's property tax. It also appears that in Cleveland water bill comes out every 90 days. Any suggestion or comments from REI in Cleveland on how to manage water and sewer issues to avoid tenants raking up huge unpaid water and sewer bills?

@Waylon Zook she said she fell behind on her mortgage payment. I have been flooded with applications to the extent that am not even considering her now.

@Filipe Pereira she said she fell behind on her mortgage payments and had to do a short sale. So the point is, if money is not a problem, how come she could not make her mortgage payments as they became due?

@Filipe Pereira This is a tenant who just sold her house that she’s lived for 35 years. So said the reason she sold the house was because she fell behind on her mortgage payment. Anyway, thanks for your suggestion. Am still looking into this.
