I am also interested in a property and am told by the "owner" on the auditor's website [which is US BANK TRUST NA (AS TRUSTEE FOR LSF9 MASTER PARTICIPATION TRUST)] that the account is owned by Caliber Home Loans. It is impossible to reach a human on their "Customer Service Line" so I am writing them a letter. Will update if anything comes out of it.
It is of course very frustrating that they allow homes to sit a fall apart and contribute to blight in neighborhoods.
Would love if anyone knew of an extension number or any way to reach a person at Caliber, I have tried punching in several extensions but am not guessing a correct one.
Thanks in advance if anyone can help!

Hey Columbus, OH rehabbers!
Wondering if anyone can recommend someone good for window repair/installation? The past two people we've used have been sloppy. Also looking for someone detail-oriented to hang kitchen cabinets & install LVT floor. I know it's a long shot as good people are hard to find but thought I'd give the BP forums a try...
Thanks in advance if you have anyone in mind!

@Omar Khan - great, I replied. Let me know if you'd like more info. I know we do a fair amount of work in Texas already so I definitely think we can help.
@Josh Oden - to my knowledge, the database we use at work isn't designed to track changes over time. We analyze market feasibility only in the present moment. The primary focus of our research is generally rents and vacancies, paired with demographic data to assess demand and we don't typically track purchase price or repair/maintenance data. Also, we don't update market data unless we are hired to do so, which means that we're unlike some of the bigger companies that are constantly updating/tracking select markets. We're only in a market because we've been hired to be there. It doesn't sound like we're the right fit to help you but feel free to check out the website and if you'd like any more info, just let me know! I do hope to see some of your research on BP in the future!
Side note: I agree w/ Omar that there are challenges to this data - management companies are often hesitant to share info and sometimes even provide incorrect info, so be cautious and keep an eye out for anything that seems "off". Best of luck to you in this project!

Hi Josh - I am very interested in your project. I currently work for a real estate market feasibility firm that conducts research all across the country, primarily for multifamily projects (market rate, LIHTC, government subsidized, etc.). I am not clear, are you looking for data sources or just letting us know what you're up to? If you're looking for data, I can see if there is a way our company can help (Vogt Strategic Insights in Columbus, OH). Most of our day-to-day work revolves around current market conditions but our software may have the capability to show changes over time - let me know if you'd be interested in me finding out more.
Either way, I'm interested in your research and the outcome of your study! Please keep us posted.
Thanks!

#1: The Scioto Peninsula project. Would be great to see our downtown spread across the river and add some depth to the skyline. (Plus I'm always a fan of an underdog story and Franklinton sort of fits that role due to the moratorium on building after the historic flood.)
#2: Project QT, it will add an outdoor recreation space unlike anything else we currently have in the city.
#3: (Which isn't on that list) The 35-story North Market parking lot tower. (Wish they would've never torn down all of the historic downtown buildings that they did for the purpose of paving surface parking lots so I am a supporter of redeveloping all of the parking lots downtown). The city "went for it" and chose the tallest of the three final proposals, and the renderings look awesome. However, not only is this not on the list but it's not on the Crane Watch map (?!?) -- am hopeful the project hasn't been pulled!
#3 (tie!) -- anything downtown. Part of me wants to fast-forward into the future to see what Columbus will look like someday when more people live downtown and it becomes more livable and energetic - already so much better than 5 or 10 years ago..
What are your favorites @Robert Ellis?

The article also has a link to the interactive Crane Watch map that shows where development is happening.

@Michael Hamby - thanks for clarifying! Good to hear not too much impact from OSU's living requirement change, I remember reading of the "scare" prior to that switch.
