Is this a serious question?

If you're not charging an application fee then it's more than fine to hold out on your decision. I personally don't wait, especially if the person is a great candidate, because I'd like to have them renting my property.

Like Eric C said this is a pretty common thing that pilots will do. They split the costs of the place and share it between them.

The landlord isn't responsible for the actions of a criminal. However, she should let him know that she wants to end her lease under the circumstances. Hopefully he is a standup guy and will agree to let her end the lease.

Hope you're staying safe!

It's definitely better to have lower property taxer rather than higher but you have to do the math and see how much money it will cost you monthly.

Defintiely delay closing. Sorry this is happening to you

Just keep trying. There are so many people and posts in here that stuff tends to slip between the cracks.

Maybe because they're scared or nervous to get out of their comfort zone. It's called being uncomfortable for a reason, and that's because people don't like to feel it.
