Hi Mario,

Congrats on the decision to invest in a piece of real estate. I agree with the others: talk to mortgage broker and evaluate the options he gives you. Also, welcome to the BP community. I do some work in California, would love to connect with you!

Best,

Dre

I see, yes I am not surprised. The market is so hot right now!

Hi Veronica,

Congrats on your decision to purchase another duplex. Not sure if you're open to it, but I would definitely consider some markets in CA and TX.

Thanks.

Dre

Hi Destin,

Is your main issue that you can't find a solid property, or is it that people keep overbidding you? These are both common issues for many people right now. Happy to connect and chat more about it with you.

Thanks.

Dre

Hi Charles,

I definitely wouldn't worry too much right now about finding a tenant in Miami. I agree with Malgorzata on this. While a condo isn't a bad idea by any means, I lean more toward SFRs. HOA fees are often (not always higher) with condos, and you often have less control.

Would love to chat more about this if you are interested!

Thanks.

Dre

@Franz Isak Bergmann Ingolfsson That’s crazy how much you have to put down in Iceland, I didn’t realize it was so high! Is this your first overseas investment property? are you looking to have the $200k be the overall costs or any additional financing?

@Will Gebbie Great questions and totally understand the nerves...if it helps at all most of the investors I work with are doing out of state deals.  I guess if you are worried about building your team/people you trust to manage and look after the property may want to find some markets that are affordable and easy to travel to and from NY so you can go visit the property need be.  Let me know what other questions you have!

@Danny Ong congrats on getting started with investing, Austin is a HOT market! Would love to connect and chat about different pockets of the Austin market, let me know any questions you have!
