@Byron Villela Jr.

Welcome to the community Byron!! As someone who’s new to the industry as well, it’s safe to say that it’s easy to get lost in the wealth of information that’s available here on BiggerPockets. I’d say you’ve got the right mentality. Soak up as much as you can, go through the forums, listen to the podcasts and read some blogs to start out. I recommend the Ultimate Beginners Guide to start out. It’ll give you an overview of real estate investing as a whole that way you can start to have an idea of what all is out there! If you have any questions feel free to ask me or anyone else on here. I’ve found that real estate truly is a team effort and everyone in here’s rather supportive of one another.

Best of luck!

@Daniel Haberkost That makes sense. I’ve just recently begun searching and have only come across one split level here. I’ll have to research a bit further to see what all is available at the moment. I appreciate your response Daniel.

@Daniel Haberkost Hate to push my way in here but quick question. I’ve come to find that I can’t find too many good small multi family and started looking for a split level sfh. Did you just have an agent find the deal or did you happen to come across it?

@Ola Dantis That actually is a great idea and now I understand. Thank you for your insight.

I’m still working on paving my path as we speak. I’m sure there are an infinite number of paths to take however in the end your last statement is most true. Creating those purposeful relationships and helping others is something I strive to do every day and consistently work on day in and day out!

I appreciate it Ola 😁

@Sterling Chapman I appreciate you’re input. I’d venture to say most of us at 20 would have found online difficult. But I’m most certainly determined and know I’ll be able to push through it pretty quick.

@Stephen Gallagher First of all congrats on your first listing! It had crossed my mind previously as to who the instructors of the course would be. Having experts in both residential and commercial provides a great variety of knowledge and experience in both fields. Being able to ask instructors as well as peers questions in class is something that would be potentially invaluable.
