@Gary Mittelman Welcome to BP!

I am at the Prince William County courthouse 2-3x/week for property auctions.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Warrenton is a 10-minute drive from there! I'd love to connect with you, if you're interested I could even take you to an auction. Send me a PM and we can get something on the books!

Also, don't forget to add an investor-friendly agent to your "rockstar" list!

@Josh York are you familiar with Dan Rochon and his Greetings Virginia team? He is an amazing agent & I know he works out of that office as well, if you don't I wouldn't mind introducing you guys!

Great job, finding and working with a mentor is the first step to success in this field! I'll send a colleague request now and I am sure we can get to some meetups together. I am out of Chantilly, but work in Alexandria often!

Gregg,

It's great to meet you, sorry I am late in the introduction the end of every month is slammed. If you need any help in your investment endeavors do not hesitate to reach out! I also have some PDFs for new investors with some good criteria for finding deals in the DMV! Great idea, you will also save yourself some $! I will send a colleague request now! Have a great weekend.

Best,

John,

I am with Restoration Capital, we have been lending in the D.M.V. for 12 years now with only 1 foreclosure. It sound's like you know exactly what you are looking for, I wouldn't need much more information other than a renovation budget/SOW and an address. Give me a call at 703-868-2763 and let's get to work on those deals. Or you can shoot me an email at [email protected], have a great day & weekend!

Thanks,

@Rick Roberson I am not sure if you have found financing yet for your deal (I hope you have!), but if your are looking for local lenders that have been working with investors for a decade, Restoration Capital is your go to. If you send me your email we can analyze this and get started!

Hello Bigger Pockets family my name is Andrew Kiblin, let me just say I listened to 104 episodes of the BP Podcast before getting on this website and starting an account.  Every time I heard Josh or Brandon's "and you can find this on our BP website" or "The UBG is the bible of Real Estate" I said "eh, I like to listen".  Now I am sitting her snowed in, fresh out of the military, and hungrier than I have ever been before.

I am 23 years old, licensed, and currently working for two (partners) Real Estate investors as well as a Hard Money Lender.  I have to thank Tracy Royce and ep.19 for that.  Instead of seeking a mentor I played to my strengths, and am now having my education paid for.

My long term goal in REI is to have my own portfolio with at least forty residential properties spread through out the country and some commercial properties in foreign countries (I've been outside the country many times and feel this is essential for me).

My short term goal is to absorb all the knowledge I can about REI. I know it is essential to understand how to work with, and for investors. I am laying the foundation for my continued education brick by brick.

If you have any advice for me, know certain questions I should be asking, or are in or around the beltway, let me know and we'll get some lunch!  I pride myself on my charisma!
