@Johanna V. biggest congrats in taking that leap of faith!  I can’t wait to hear more about it. If you don’t mind, would you share some numbers?

How much you got the land for? How long did it take for you to acquire it? Difficult?

Unit mix? How much you plan on selling it for?

I have an agent that I have been working with and I am sure she would love to help you market. But I am sure there has been flocks of them.

I go to Tulum about once or twice a year. I have the itch now to return. My favorite place to stay is Tita Tulum which over the years all the fancy establishment like the Harwood restaurant has built around this rustic still owned by Mexican family.

Let’s talk more soon and keep this post going.

Congrats again and I am so proud of you! I know it hasn’t been easy. We all have lots to learn from this experience.

Right out of the bat, no. I bought a 4 plex at your price in Columbus ohio at that price and they all pay $700 per month. I would look into other markets or offer a lot lower.

I would love to listen to this podcast.  Anyone know the episode number? I am setting up a air bnb. And was tempering with the idea of renting it out by the room as i feel like the entire house would lead to many parties.

@Brandon Motuk. In the same boat. I have a rehab that is turning into a flop so going to have to keep it and Air bnb until next year. Refinancing right now with BofA. Conventional loans don’t deal with LLCs. As people have way more history and credit. So all I need to do is do a quit claim deed transfering my LLC back to me. The bank still wants all the docs regarding my LLC properties. I am guessing when you are dealing with SFR it is different compared to commercial?

@Thomas Harr Thank you so much for sharing. It takes so much courage to post this. I have a horror story with GC too and they could be nightmares. It is happening either in your own town or Out of state. Best of luck to you and I hope you load this off soon. How come you didn’t stage at your price point? Just wondering. Everything in my hood is a Million dollars and they are all staged.

@Roberto Moita. I own in Columbus Multi and SFR along with s SFR in Atlanta that I plan on holding. If you like to talk more let me know. They are both a breed of its own and really depends on what you are looking for but I love both markets. I also own in SF but I got in during 2009 and the rest is history. Not ever going to sell it.
