Thank you for that advice. I hadn't ever thought of doing that.

I will be returning to Maryland and subsequently plan on staying until retirement from the military. So, really this will be my last move.

Welcome to BP! I am active duty army as well and I returned from the middle east in April. I actually closed on my first property while I was gone on that deployment. Since returning in the end of April I have purchased 3 more buy and hold properties and I have two more properties currently under contract. One is going to be a rental rehab and the other will be a flip. Let me know if you have any questions or need anything while your deployed.

Hi Anthony, With you investing from overseas do you work with a property manager or do you have family helping out back in Maryland?

I have been able to have friends help me. The only thing I need them to help me with is when a tenant moves out and getting a new tenant in. Otherwise, I do everything myself.
