Hello, me and my partner are looking to get our foot in the door with real estate investing. We are interested in fixing and flipping properties to start off to build capital and eventually get into rentals. We live in NYC but are looking to start in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and if the deals make sense upstate New York. We don’t have much if any capital to get started so, after doing research we’ve seen that it is possible to do it with no capital whether it be through private/hard money lenders or joint ventures with other investors. If there’s anyone here that would be interested in giving us any advice or have any interest in maybe working with us that would be amazing. I used to be a real estate agent and dipped my toes in a bit of wholesaling. So I have some knowledge on the business.

Hello, I’m looking to get started in real estate investing. Specifically wholesaling because I don’t have the capital or credit at the moment to be able to purchase properties yet. I’m 22 years old located in Queens, New York. It would be great if there’s anybody in my area that uses BiggerPockets who could show me the ropes and teach me what they know to help me get my business started. I would be more than willing to be able to help them with their business as well.

@FrankChin Well my buyers purchase properties in Long Island and the Bronx. Not directly in the city.

Hello, I've been trying to get started wholesaling properties for about a year now only to have no progress at all.  I have buyers but I can't seem to find any properties that fit their criteria. I think the reason for this is because I don't know how to find properties the correct way. Is there any tips anyone can give me to help out? Thank you.

Hello,

I've made the decision to go ahead to start my wholesaling business. I'm here to get some insight and advice on the best and most effective ways of finding motivated sellers. I'm currently living in Astoria, Queens, New York. I'm aiming to wholesale anywhere in Queens and Long Island. Any advice would be highly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hello,

I have just recently discovered wholesaling properties and I'm very eager to get into the business. I currently live in NYC and want anybody who has knowledge of wholesaling to give me any advice they could for a beginner. I am a real estate agent, does that help me in anyway?
