i have no issues, I go to meet up, I like mixed groups so I can get exposure to all of REI

but safety first.

I make sure I go to reputable groups.

at least know someone at the smaller dinner meetups.

I used to be scared but after years of being a Realtor, vet over phone then meet ;)

sorry to add. I don't have good experience with meeting multiple GC/vendor if I have used them before. if I never met them I'm OK meeting 2 @ once.

return vendors, I usually dedicate a time with them. now I have a team so my ppl know the drill, but it was a long process of vetting and trusting

along with meeting and seeing at the project house.

I would ask for referrals, and see their current or past jobs.

many GC master the Sales pitch and lower estimates but don't follow through.

i would.pay the GC, bc they know they don't 100% of the job. and $75 to write up or give u a verbal is worth their time. build a relationship. if GC is good and reliable the  you will have jobs for him eventually. or he can be a source of your next deal.

don't abuse your network ;)

education first. I joined Coldwell first then jumped to Krller Williams.

agree agents with 100% commission potential agency not for newbies.

get educated and setup network first.

hi BP

I have listened to all 160 podcast, and was just thinking.

1. I don't think we ever heard from the General contractor side. I would be curious to hear from a GC, successful in working with investor. and why they don't invest themselves or if they do.

2. I would also like to hear more about how we are problem solvers. there was a recent one about having a lot that didn't transfer and it was a working progress. I would like suggest similar problems that has been resolved. maybe a podcast with different speakers. we do hear about mistakes. I would like to hear about solving seller/buyer/tenant issues.

my 2 secs..
