I have rented 3 rooms in my 4B owner occupied home. I am planning on refinancing my 30yr loan to a 15yr term and wondering if long-term room rentals in anyway impact the appraisal process.

Thank you all for your invaluable suggestions! I rented 3rooms and the rent covers 95% of my mortgage for now :) Now I can look forward to saving that extra money which otherwise would have gone towards the rent, to purchase an investment home in under a year!

Hello,
I recently bought a 4B home and moved-in a month ago. I am wondering if I can rent rooms in my house since I have 4 rooms and I am the only one living. This home was not classified as an investment home for mortgage purposes since I wanted to move here.
