This is so true! Everyone is afraid that if they charge the applicant the fee, that they will miss out on a potential tenant- which is not necessarily the case. If you have someone who doesn't want to pay an application fee, they probably aren't the best fit tenants. As a landlord, you don't have to be the one to pay the screening costs!
