Cleveland and Akron have been seeing good cash flow. If you are planning to buy and hold, I'd recommend Columbus. Homes here have been appreciating like crazy. I obviously can't say for sure, but I'm predicting they'll continue to increase in the future.

@Account Closed It seems like it's been a challenge finding properties everywhere right now. In Ohio, Columbus has seen a lot of appreciation. On the flip side, Cleveland is a strong market to get good cash flows in.

It's a small thing, but packing a lunch to work has saved me a lot of money. It only saves about $8 per day. Still, it can add up to $40 per week or $2,080 per year.

I've also seen a lot of recent success in Columbus and recently in Cleveland. A lot of new jobs and a younger population in those cities.

House hacking is definitely the way to start. Be sure to test out multiple lenders to make sure you're getting the best loan program and rate, especially with this home being a long-term investment for you.

I've seen investors and friends have a lot of success in Columbus, Ohio. The city is growing quickly with a need for more housing.
