Hey all! I’m in the process of finding/buying my first property & my goal is to “house hack” without having to actually live with tenants. 

My solution was line in a MIL suite then rent out the full house to maximize cash flow. If anyone is aware of any deals in the Houston area at/under $130K, I’d really appreciate it the information! Thank you in advance.

Hey all! Firstly, I sincerely appreciate anyone who replies for their time and efforts, it means a lot. I'm a 27yr old new investor w/ about 60k in cash via savings and liquid investments. To refer to Mr. Kiyosaki, I'm currently in the "E" & "S" quadrants (Personal Trainer) but I know real estate is the vehicle I want for long-term passive income. I currently live in the seller's market of Houston-inner loop. I've read David Greene's book on Long Distance Real Estate investing, but I'd really like to make my first purchase "in my own backyard" if possible. I believe "House Hacking" would be a great first investment and help teach me the reins a bit, but I'm open to any suggestions as to what a seasoned investor would recommend. Thank you!!
