@Greg H. @Charles Parrish Thank you for your responses.I am in the process of acquiring this SFH through owner financing. The seller still has mortgage on the property do it's going to be a wrap mortgage arrangement. The deed will be transferred on closing to me.I was just concerned about the loan being recalled.I have heard people say this is possible.

Hi everyone,

I have a quick question here. What remedies are available to a buyer that is in a owner-finance situation(wrap mortgage) if the loan was called by the lender for violating a due on sale clause?

Thanks

Hi everyone,

Quick question on a proposed lease back arrangement.I am in the process of purchasing a SFH. The seller was asking if I would allow him to lease the house from me for 1 month after closing. The reason being that the house the planned to move to is still being built(final stages)

Is this something common? What do I need to watch out for and what can go wrong with this arrangement?I have a realtor working with me.

A strategy that has proven to work is starting out with the familiar, then work your way into the not so familiar. Its never an easy decision but for most people.Have thought about leasing your home instead and buying a new home as your primary home if feasible? This may get him to see things differently.
