It depends on what you do with the Option. It's the paperwork after the option that really matters. It also depends on how long you want to hold the options for.

Randy Johnston great PDF. Not many states have this. In the case of a small business putting out lawn signs/Bandit signs are the same general rules. The PDF looks like it was made for people trying to advertise the sale of a property (looking for buyers). Do you think the rules are different for looking for sellers?

In some cities you have to put them out on Friday and pick them up on Sunday.
