Recently bought a 3 bedroom up and down duplex (owner occupied). How can I get into another owner occupied unit either 3 or 4 units with another mortgage?

@Ralphhunter yes my market has lots of 100 year old houses. The city is the biggest city in the state in terms of area and has many houses that are old. I think it falls in line with the area I seek to invest in. 

Has anyone taken a chance on a home with uneven floors. (Property is 115 years old)? 

Any issues arise? 

What is the best way to go about the transitioning of the lease and rent payment? 

Is it a good idea to buy a home with galvanized pipes?

What are some of the issues that can arise? 

Is this a deal breaker? 

What are the drawbacks to this?

Should the meters be split? 

I'm in the process of purchasing a duplex with 3 beds rooms each. The repairs seem extensive including bad insulation, minor roof repairs, faulty structure, floors are uneven (home is a little over 100 years old) galvanized pipes, old water heaters, among other minor cosmetic issues. 

Should I walk away or since I do have a contingency and these repairs seem well over $3000. 

Would 203k be a viable option? 

Just looking for honest views.
