@Richard Xyminies regardless of whether you live there or a tenant, you would want to protect your interest in the unit. The HOAs Master Policy will protect them, but “studs in” is on you. Also, depending on the State, Loss Assessments Coverage is becoming more important, as legislation to allow The Associations to raise deductible responsibility to unit owners for damage originating in their unit has been passed.
