FHA loan at 3.5%. Live in the property for a year while you save up, then move on to bigger and better things!

Hey brother,

People aren't trying to knock you.  I think its more just concern that you do adequate research and prepare yourself for the reality of things. I wish you the best and you can absolutely do whatever you set your mind to.  Just be prepared and do your due diligence and you'll be straight. Good luck!

@Josh Nabors Hey Josh, funny enough I'm a nurse too and about the same age about to get into what you're doing. Question..whats the pros and cons of doing a 203k loan instead of the standard FHA? I know you get extra rehab money but is the interest still the same and refinance options still the same? I wonder why everyone wouldn't do that? I assume just to keep the overall loan amount lower? Thanks in advance for your response.
