Post: Assessment Lien Foreclosure Sale

Hi all,
I noticed a Foreclosure sale happening and it says "Assessment Lien Foreclosure Sale". Is this different than a normal foreclosure sale? The reason I ask is because the price is so low (only a few thousand) and the property is probably worth $300k.

@Jon Holdman we are based (and began) in Minneapolis, yes. We took what worked well here and expanded to the other listed markets as we saw opportunities arise. We have multiple partners in these areas that enable us to provide the same excellent service wherever we sell. We have also developed relationships with the banks in these areas that are friendly to distant investors. We are very familiar with each market we sell in and have at least a few people on the ground in each area working with us. Our goal is to create a long term relationship with our clients, not just sell them a turnkey home somewhere.

Hey @Brie Schmidt ,
Because the majority of our clients buy on the backside, they can see exactly what they're getting and for what price (it's already rehabbed and tenanted). If however something does go wrong, we will remedy the situation, or simply keep the property ourselves. We've done hundreds of houses and this is a very rare occurrence.
