@Michael Thach

Michael thank you thank you so much. So the 100K is from a HELOC I was able to get on my condo before I was laid off. So lucky there. And I still have some more equity left. But might not be able to get more out due to not working full time at the moment.

But I absolutely love these scenarios. And yes I wanna leverage as much as I can and not tie up the money so fast. My goal is to get as many rentals as I can.

As for the market , overall is very pricy. About half hour to an hour I can get better deals. I am new and have never been a landlord before so my preference would be to invest close to home.

Cannot wait to get a property under my belt. Journey has begun.

Thanks again Michael.

@Theresa Harris

Hey Theresa , so sorry I meant to say I Own a Condo not a coffee shop.

Currently not working. But will go soon and after maybe 2 months of paystubs I’ll go to a bank and see what I can get for a loan. And maybe $100K would help me get more of a loan or better terms.

Thanks a lot for reaching out with advice.

@Kiera Underwood

Hey Kiera ,

Yea I think the best option is a house hack. Or if I can get a decent property and put down 20%.

But most importantly is to get a property!

I’m learning a lot as I go,

Appreciate the advice and good luck to your REal Estate journey!

@Michael Wentzel

Hey Michael , I appreciate it. I’m going back to work very very soon. I need at least 1 month worth of paystubs or maybe even 2. Then I’ll take it all to a bank and see what I can get for a loan.

As for cash purchases , it’s hard around here to find properties for like 50k or less than 100K.

In the meantime I’m looking for properties around me here in the Boston area. Let’s see how it goes.

Thanks again.

Hello everyone , I’m sitting on $100k , and this money will be used as a down payment on a rental property.

Currently own a coffee do and this will be my first investment property. With that being sad also once I go back to work. I’m worried that I won’t get much of a loan do to not working 40 hours.

What would be some of my options. Just looking for general advice if anyone can share !

Appreciate it ,

And by the way I love BP!

@Thomas Baylor

Ideally a multi family - at least two units. So I have some money saved up, but not working so cant get a Loan at the moment. But , it’s a matter of when not if I’m gonna purchase a rental.

Thanks
