Hi all,
I have my first two SFH under agreement and am working on the other members of my team. Does anyone have a CPA that they would recommend for someone just starting out? The properties are in OH and I live in MA.
Thanks,
Beth

Good Morning BP community,
I currently live in MA and am looking to do some long distance buy and hold rentals to get better cash flow with longer capital needs. Does anyone have any recommendations for markets that have good cash flow and affordable (<$100k) properties for long term rentals? I've heard florida, OK city, Kansas City, Alabama... and just not sure where to start.
Thanks,
Beth

Hi everyone,
Just curious on what people's thoughts are on renting our individual rooms vs. full units. I had a friend who made an absolute killing renting out all of his units by the room rather than the full unit. You can make higher rents for each door, but obviously adds an additional hassle with more individual tenants/contracts. Are there times where people have and have not pursued this technique? Thoughts?
Thanks,
Beth

Thanks everyone for your help. It's hard to walk away when you see the extra dollars but from everything I've heard on BP, the nicer neighborhood is generally recommended for the newbie (or even those more experienced).
I also hadn't thought of the appreciation value as I intend to be a buy and hold investor, but that's definitely a good point.

Hi everyone,
I'm looking to purchase my first rental property and can't decide between two neighborhoods. One neighborhood is a C neighborhood but turns about 20% ROI where as there's a A/B neighborhood that turns about 10% ROI. Is the tougher neighborhood worth giving a try for a first time around?
Thanks,
Beth
Hi Steve,
Thanks for your help. Yes on the gc. I'm looking to start building my team and contractors are one that I really don't have any leads on, but I feel is an important person to know and trust.
