Quote from @Cédric Le May:
All ChatGPT answers are backed up (at least on my version) by reliable sources (or what I would consider reliable: Forbes, Investopedia, FINRA, etc.).
I did the same and was able to jump in pretty quick with zero knowledge and a displayed aversion to finance and real estate, to "I understand what people are talking about" (which is pretty impressive knowing myself). This triggered more research as it should, and I am now part of this community.
I am persuaded that I need to have strong foundations before doing anything.
Now, I can be wrong and I am completely fine with making mistakes.
If you're using Bing or Google Gemini or ChatGPT with RAG, the yes, they will use those references to inform their response and they'll link to those references in the response. Otherwise absolutely not, it's word soup from across the Internet, which may include reputable sources but also includes crap from Reddit.

If you browse this tax forum, you will see literally dozens of posts asking for a CPA referral. It has always been the case. Also the rule prohibiting self-promotion has always been the case. Yet, it is NOT enforced.
As a result, several tax professionals repeatedly offer their help on this forum in violation of the rules - and get away with it. And they look good because they "care" and "want to help." Those of us who follow the rules are at a competitive disadvantage.
Either we need to enforce the rule or - better yet - revise the rule and allow ALL tax professionals to offer their services when someone is specifically asking for help, like this post.
Nope, just a BP employee browsing the forums on my day off.
You can always report posts for self promotion outside of Classifieds. Our moderators actually do a pretty good job of removing these and banning repeat offenders.
I think the bigger problem is that folks who are new to BP don't know that this rule goes both ways: you're not allowed to solicit outside of the Classifieds either. So you can report that too.

Here is a website and ranking system that I have come up with over time.
https://www.areavibes.com/Here is my rating & classification for each livability score.
80(livability score) and above A+
78/79 A
76/77 A-
74/75 B+
72/73 B
70/71 B-
68/69 C+
66/67 C
64/65 C-
60/63 D
59 and below F
I checked two neighborhoods with areavibes and it is not at all accurate. Highland Park, Texas is ranked 69. This is a inburb of Dallas with $10m+ homes.
