I am an out of state investor. I'm looking at partnering with someone who would be willing to manage the rehab and a second judge of character when hiring property managers and contractors.

Does anyone have experience with this?

How did you structure your partnership? who handled what? Did you split rehab costs?

I am bringing the money to purchase the home.

Thanks BP community!

Hey Maurice,

I am a contractor and I would definitely expect a $21,000 rehab to take longer than one month. It depends on what you are rehabbing but definitely if you are hiring out multiple kinds of trades to fix up the property usually they can not go simultaneously one needs to be finished before another can start. Just something to consider.

Cheers and good luck

Hi Greg thanks for that thorough summary. Having a list like that is very helpful. If I get snagged along the way or have more questions is it alright if I reach out to you for some advice?

Kind Regards,

Hello,

My family and I control a parcel of land in Reno, Nevada in a well established area of town (South Virginia and Gentry). It has been in my family for many years and is owned free and clear.  I am hoping to connect with some developers and discuss possible strategies to get the empty lot developed into multifamily units. We are considering selling one asset and purchasing adjacent land/ demolition and development, as well as a couple other ideas. Just looking to bounce some ideas off experienced developers and see what you would do in the same situation. The highlighted area is what we own and is all located in a mixed use zone.

All the best

Looking to connect with fellow investors, property managers, agents, and wholesalers. I a looking to buy my first investment property. I have been self employed for under two years so I am looking for a multifamily property to BRRRR using hard money or a property to seller finance or subject to. Looking for properties up to 200K.

I'm US citizen but live in Denmark. I like the Laredo market for cash flow. Hoping to build my team and learn from from some seasoned investors who have invested in the area. If you have any connections or advice please let me know!

Cheers!
