I know I'm late to this post but it's a simple yet powerful message. Congratulations and thanks for sharing.

I look forward to waking up in the mornings reading up on things that I'm interested in and putting my plans to action. For now, I'm off to work for a few hours...ugh the rat race.

Thanks for replying. I will check out both companies. At first I thought SDIRAs were overly complicated and a sure way of just tying up funds. I see it differently now. I have (2) 401ks just sitting and I'm thinking of rolling them over for the purpose of investing in deals outside of my own. I plan to sit down with a professional and go over details but it seems like a good way to invest towards retirement.

Lisa,

I found through reading articles on this site and blogs by members of this site that I don't need to buy a system. There is so much to know and the blogs have helped me by being able to read real experiences. Seeing what works and what may not. Also, I've been able to narrow down my interest as a newbie. I thought it was one thing and I learned it's another. Good Luck!

Edward, I'm in the same boat. I just found out why it would be beneficial to be a pro on this site. I am just figuring out how to get the most out of it and I've been on here for a few weeks now.

I still don't know how the influence or awards work and why I should care about that.

Thanks Josh

Post: Do you set goals or listen to motivationals regularly?

Good thread. Like Vic L. I visualize more so than write my goals down. I believe it is important to set goals and I always have which has gotten me far. Not out of the rat race but I'm still working towards that.

I have listened to motivational/instructional CDs in the past and just bought a new one that was recommended by Kevin K.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with needing an inspirational word to drive you forward.

I just read old threads on the topic which were very helpful. I wrote out a more detail post which was erased so I'll just ask.

Please tell me who you use as your SDIRA administrator? I'm looking at Entrust.

Thanks in advance!

Tod,

BB is Big Brother on CBS. As far as social media the ones listed by Bryan will be my primary focus. Even though I used Face Book mostly to keep up with friends, family and to avoid making phone calls, I think that it is over rated. I am totally resisting Twitter for the moment.

About 2 weeks ago someone began following me but I couldn't understand why he'd want to - left no message. A few days ago I saw someone from Philly and asked to follow them. I left a message saying that he could add me to his buyers list. I didn't really want to follow just to write that but you have to do it that way when you no pay.

I agree it's weird when people begin following without even indicating why.

Christie thanks for linking the article - I took a quick peek. I won't pretend that I get Twitter and I really don't want to. I have way too much information to process as it is. That said, my partner is all over it and through him I am sure I will learn how it can help our business.

I like the idea of using FaceBook and actually follow a few businesses that way. I have no tolerance for tacky unprofessional sites.

My question is for investors, who are you trying to target and what are you saying in your tweets?
