@Scot Evans I completely agree with what Alexa is saying however I know this month Atlanta changed some of their Airbnb laws.  I believe they are implementing that you must obtain a permit and the number of rentals you are allowed to have is being restricted.  However if this is your first one that may not be an issue.  Just as always do your research on the laws and if they are cracking down they may do more in the future, so I would just make sure that you have a solid exit strategy like being able to turn it into a long term rental, etc.

I purchased a property with a tenant already in place and just need to add updates to the lease switching payment information and that she is to pay me.  I just want to make sure I do it the right way and did not know if I should do an addendum or amendment.
