The quote is fine, with the old style meters here in Cleveland the meter base and the mast need to be replaced. This is what the quote states. The power company should run a new feed from the pole and install the new meters. Obviously this needs to be completed with City permits

I have used a company here in town call B-Dry. They are very reasonable and their warranty will transfer to the next home owner if you sell. Have never had any issues with their quality of work. In fact they just completed a job for me in Willoughby Hills 2 weeks ago. PM for my contact and Ph No.

Depends where it is, parts of NC are ok some not so much. The closer you get to E 140 not so much, closer you get to E 185 much better. In fact my wifes brother lives in NC right on the lake north of Lakeshore.

I live in Cleveland and have rental units in 44110 and would buy additional if the right opportunity did arise. There are some areas of the zip code that I would stay away from. Would be glad to give my opinion with address.

Another vote for siding due to the possibility of lead paint chips contaminating the soil at the base of the house. Old windows are also a source of lead paint dust. If there was a child living in your property who had elevated levels of lead in his blood and a risk assessment was done, the test would swab areas inside of the windows. A lab test would indicate if there was lead dust present. Any paint chips on the ground would fail the risk assessment and require additional testing.
Windows and siding are 2 items I like to see complete on a purchase of a rental property. If not they are addressed prior to a tenant move in. I am doing windows right now on a recent buy in the city of Cleveland. Just my 2 cents.
