Welcome, Gene! Where are you looking for properties? I'd recommend getting involved with the Utah REIA and attending the monthly Bigger Pockets meetups in Sandy. There's always a few wholesalers there. Other investors, hard money lenders, agents, and some contractors also attend.

Thanks, Jeff! I appreciate you helping put it together. I like the location, especially with it being close to my house, but it was a bit cramped. I guess that could be a good thing too. Since it meant there were a lot of people that attended! Another good thing was that there were quite a few new faces. I was able to make several new contacts.

I look forward to attending next month. See you then!

I made some good contacts and learned a lot from others. I'm glad to see these events happening in SLC. Thanks!

I recently had to do a demo on a bathroom and wanted to be protected from mold and other particulate matter in the air. I went with this respirator http://goo.gl/Y3h4sv. It will also be useful if you ever do any painting with a sprayer!

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll give each of them a go on one of my future renovations.

I'm looking for a recommendation for a home inspector in the Salt Lake City, UT area. I'm looking for someone who is reliable, thorough and reasonably priced. Any recommendations?
