@Christine Lovett I used Duane Gomer.  Cheaper than allied with great support.  I passed the exam fairly easily on the first try.  At least price it against allied.  Good luck!

@Bill Morris I recently signed up with a smaller brokerage (8 agents) for the exact reason that I wanted to have the freedom to pursue investments while working as a retail realtor at the same time.  I met with a few brokers before making my decision.  Coldwell Banker and Keller Williams to name the big ones.  Kw was my 2nd choice for sure.  Check out this site for info on their split.  http://moving-careers.com/keller-williams-realty-t...

Good luck!

@Colby J. Well done on the first deal!  I hope you make a killing.  Be sure to get your team in place before you land that multi-family.  If you're gonna us a pm interview at least a few before making your decision BEFORE you buy!  Factor that cost into the purchase price whether you're going to self manage or not.  You may not want to self manage next year.

Good luck!
