I am like a few of you that loves my cars but i also love getting my cars at a steal of a price. I treat finding a car the same way as real estate ie. scouring auction data and searching craigslist across the country to find the best deals and prices. I have a 2002 lexus SC430 hard top convertible that cost me $14,000 160k miles (paid for in full) I hate car payments!!!!! I also have a 97 ford F150 $3000 175k miles(paid in full) I hate car payments!!!! And a 1994 Lexus LS400 $2000 165k miles (paid in full) Did i mention i hate car payments? I have found i can have luxury cars at reasonable prices without having car payments.

My mom was a very out going person, she and dad (and I) would go someplace and a waitress would wait on us and she'd say " you know anyone who wants to buy a house?" heck, she'd be in line to get movie tickets and ask. Got news for you, it works, you all play the numbers sending out yellow letters, why not do it in person? Chances are, you ask ten people, one will know someone that is interested, ask 20 to 25, that person will have an interest. They sold miilions just by asking.

Hey, don't discount asking the waitress, her husband works too, she has family, you have no idea unless you ask!

I'm tell'n you, it's about people!

Wonderful advice i am gonna take this and run with it thank you!!

I go by my middle name Brent and i am a newbie that lives in Northern Virginia. This site rocks so thanks you BP and all its contributers and members. I am still trying to educate myself on REI but am ready to walk the plank and jump in. My day job is inside sales so i am very comfortable talking with people and prospecting.
