When they call, and I can't pickup I'd like for them to feel comfortable and leave their name and number so I can call them back.
Sorry, I had posted this in the real estate agents section and just reposted it in the wholesalers forum. Not sure how to delete threads.
I know that voicemail is not really an important part of the wholesaling business and I usually pick up every call that I get. But when I am unable, I like to sound as professional as possible and have come up with a quick scrip. I'd like you guys to let me know what you think.

Hey Bill Gulley , thanks for the response. Couple of things though, I dont think me stealing the agent's client whom I would be performing an inspection for would be any kind of issue, heres why. The agent obviously already has some kind of relationship with the person, so unless they had some kind of major dispute, I don't see why a client would approach the home inspector (who has a RE license) to represent them.
Also from my side, it would be an extremely unethical thing to do. If the agent did in fact did show some kind of concern, I would be open to signing an agreement to not represent their client.
I would also think that agents would rather refer or work with a home inspector that has their RE license. They would know that I understand who whole process and would work in their benefit by knowing how to deal with customers.
I will do a lot of research and due diligence before I jump into playing both roles though. Thanks again

I am thinking about getting my Home Inspection license and wanted to see what you guys thought. I also have my Real Estate license though.
The reason I want to get it is because I really enjoy inspecting properties, I have been doing it for the last 5 years on a regular basis. From the research I've done and talking to a couple inspectors, making a descent a income ($50K+) is not far fetched.
I have talked to one agent who also has his license and he says its not a big deal, but you have to be careful. The main thing is disclosure before inspections and be fully insured.
Anyone else have any input on this?
