Welcome to BP Matt!  There are a lot of resources on here and I recommend setting up keyword alerts so that you get an alert if a particular topic or question comes up in a forum etc.  Wish you the best as you get started.  Educate yourself and find a mentor to learn from.

So you are saying that investors can't or shouldn't have N/R loans from anyone except specific lenders?

Michael Worley, you are misinformed.  You can get a non-recourse loan to borrow $$$ against property being purchased & Lender's only recourse is to take back the property.  SDIRA's allow non-recourse loans.....

Adam H., thanks for the info.  I kind of figured that was why the loan structure was that way for non-recourse loans.  That just eliminates a lot of potential deals through my SDIRA but I can still figure it out and make some work.  Right now I got $32k in my SDIRA and looking to double or triple that value over the next year.
