Learn as much as you can about "Hard Money" there's a lot of advice and places on the site that will be a great place to start.

And save your money!

I purchased my first home at 21 because I figured out what I wanted at 19. My advice to u is to watch the podcasts starting from the first one and research different mortgage types. Look for govt first time buyer mortgages as well.

I'm a banker and an investor. I don't take dermatology advice from a mechanic or pluming advice from a doctor. He doesn't know RE investing if he can give you some solid reasons why he said that.

I'd like to see authors (or guest authors) write a series of posts about the actions they took and the mindset they had to acquire to build a business in/around real estate or real estate services/products. I'd be more intrigued to hear from the "non-traditional" real estate business owners. I want to hear from the guys who have figured out a niche and are grossing several hundred thousand (if not millions) a year.

I suppose I'm tired of seeing the same articles that provide general advice about saving, building a portfolio, the 5 steps to quit your job, the 6 steps to become a real estate investor, the 7 steps to wholesale your first deal, how to raise private money, etc. etc. While those topics are imperative for brand new people, many of us have already consumed that information and are craving more details.

I'd like to see more articles that discuss real experiences, provide actionable advice, and create rock solid content that I can utilize and reference when needed. A great example of what I'm talking about is the series Brian Burke wrote on the multi-family myths. He used real experiences, included great detail, and ultimately developed a series of articles that will forever provide useful content to readers.

Perhaps I don't know what sells :) Just my 0.02!

thank you for making me feel welcome. I have been listening to the podcasts for about a year now and will hopefully get to tell my very interesting and inspiring story on it one day. 

I'm a goal driven achiever with a passion for real estate. I have been working in banking since 2010 as a retirement specialist and a mortgage, personal, business and home equity loan originator. I have a few properties I have purchased and is being rented and I flip houses as well.
