Hello,

I want to connect to real estate agents who are also investors. I have 35 days to identify a home to purchase due to 1031 exchange. I’m looking to buy a home near the Medical University of South Carolina to rent as a mid term (30+ days) or as a short term rental. Please send me your contact info.

Thank you,

Ceasar Ancheta

@Rick Pozos I'm a newbie but I have a house in San Antonio that's free and clear. I'm looking to refinance or apply for a HELOC and invest in Florida or buy another in San Antonio, New Braunfels, or Texas. Would love to connect with you and discuss what areas to buy rental properties in that has potential for good cash flow. Haven't lived in San Antonio since I retired from the Air Force in 2003. Thanks.

@Brandon Moore congratulations and good luck with your goal as REIs. My wife and I are in California too and looking to invest in Orlando, Tampa or Jacksonville. Please let us know if your realtor friends know any realtors in the other two areas. Can’t wait to hear about your trip to Orlando and the properties you bought. Safe travels!!

@Joseph Firmin. Thank you for the information. I do have an account with PenFed so I’ll give them a call. Thanks again.

Thank you for the advice @Jon Crosby. I think I will try to get a HELOC. I just have to find a bank that offers it. Most of the banks that I've called are not offering HELOCS. Is there a place in Bigger Pockets the list lenders that do?

Newbie here. I live in California and have a house in San Antonio that I bought in 1998 when I was in the military. It's been a rental since 1999 and paid it off a few months ago. I want to use the equity on to purchase additional properties. Should I refinance or try to get a HELOC?
