@Royston Lobo I actually didn't. I was looking at something he was offering in the Chicago market. Most of his stuff didn't have the returns I wanted, and the one that would have, had no flexibility in the management agreement. The management agreement was unlike anything I've experienced with other companies. It wasn't Zach's management company though - but a partner firm

@Jason Carter would be easier if I wasn't currently working in Africa :) . that is the hitch - keep assets uninvested until I get 'home' or wade through the options remotely and be completely overwhelmed by the prompts and messages from here on bigger pockets.

Thanks @Chris Bodden. the one property that so far is a candidate is in the Northern Illinois market. And yeah - I always try to be a bit conservative in my own cash flow. But still it is buying into a market sight unseen.

Thanks, Caleb. I know it is all in the 'buy' - and so far I've only seen 1 that is worth considering from them. But it is interesting.

Totally gimmicky name! But a property management company/turnkey out of the Chicago / Northern Illinois market. Anyone? I see on of the principals has been on here since 2015, but can't find any comments or reviews.
Thanks,
Charity

Hello Forum . . . I've done a bit of looking around here for reviews of Rent to Retirement - a turnkey company. http://renttoretirement.com/.
Anyone have recent experience? I'm considering my first investment with a turnkey company and considering a property they have on offer. Any other experience with turnkey's that I should consider?
Thank you,
Charity

@Larry Fried Thanks for the shout out. I will definitely PM you. If I wasn't out of the country right now, I would buy you coffee! But we might need to do that virtually for now.

@Jennifer Hicks @Jacob Wathen and @Mike D'Arrigo Thank you for responding. I will definitely reach out to find out more about your experiences in Tulsa, Kansas City, and Indianapolis. I look forward to using the connections here for finding the team needed to buy some interesting cash flow.

I've been following the BiggerPockets podcast for a month or so. Bought my first rental investment in August on the Oregon Coast, a duplex near my main 'residence.' I have been a shorter term consultant in international development, traveling internationally with every assignment and doing between 4-6 a year; but during the purchase of the duplex was in transition to a full-time overseas based W-2 job with an intention of using the 200% jump in my income (including the tax savings from being out of the country) to invest in cash flow. So I'm looking for better returning markets than the one back at home. Initial research is that I want small multi-family, strong property management and team that can work with someone overseas and everything must be virtual (I think I'm conservative in my expectations on cash flow return on investment given I'm a bit further away than out of state.) . I don't think I want to find the 'best' market, but a good market where I can find excellent local execution (buyers agent, property management, contractor, finance team.) Looking at Pittsburgh, St. Louis, Kansas City, Tulsa . . . but definitely just a place to start and I'm agnostic to market given I am just looking to buy decent cash flow with people that sound straightforward and who do what they say.
I'm in Mozambique for the time being; but have every intention of moving back to the Oregon Coast at some point. (far south coast)
