Hi BP:

Recently I put a listing on Craigslist that said that I buy homes. Less than a day later I received an inquiry!

OMG! Now what do I do now? I am thinking that I should reply with a question about what properties fit my criteria? What else should I be asking?

Hello James:

In response to the listing on the BiggerPockets.com forum, I am writing to introduce myself. My name is Cheryl Branche. I am a librarian, freelance writer, online reseller and newbie real estate investor. I have good internet research skills, oral and written communication skills. I am familiar with ACRIS the New York State real estate and online tax information website.

I may be able to help you create a very useful list of names and addresses of absentee owners in a given ZIP Code. Will you, if the opportunity remains available, contact me with details? I am happy to discuss how I can help you.

Sincerely,

Cheryl

Hi:

I am a new investor and want to learn the ropes. I live in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn and I am learning the neighborhood. from a real estate investment perspective.  Would like to intern, so to speak, to learn what I can about real estate investing.  Have a great work ethic and willing to put in the time to learn as much as I can.

If you need a conscientious intern, message me.

Cheryl

Post: Securing the property

I have more time than money. I want to find deals and make them available to investors. Question 1: Do I need to secure the property? Question 2: If so, how do I do so without pumping down a hefty down payment? Or other sizable chunk of money? Question 3: How much, if any, should I offer to secure the property? I want to assign properties. Question 1: Do I need to secure the property? Question 2: If so, how do I do so without pumping down a hefty down payment? Or other sizable chunk of money?
