Quick background: I don't have any money, literally paycheck to paycheck. So I'm looking into different ways of creative financing. I was just listening to a BP podcast and David Green said that some people in his area were getting a government grant to cover the down payment of a property. Has anyone every heard of this or know where to go to find out more about it?

Hey everyone! Just got out of the Army and living in Seguin, just NE of San Antonio. Ideally I'd like to meet a mentor if at all possible to bounce ideas off of and learn from. I'm all about helping out with rehabs (When time allows) in order to bring something to the table!

Hi everyone! I'm sure there's some resources out there but I'd like to hear what this community has to say about where to go or which calculator to use to find out how much you can afford based off of income, credit, etc.

Hey BP! So I've been going through the podcasts and the books which are an amazing wealth of information obviously. However, one of the first steps everyone is saying is to start analyzing properties and more or less go after the ones which "meet your criteria". What sources are there that will assist someone in defining what their "criteria" would be?
