@Shain Ismailovski thank you for your response! That makes a lot of sense. My only concern is that rent would have to be really expensive. I assume property management fees aren’t cheap.

How do you suggest going about finding one? Any things to look out for in a PM company?

@John Teachout we have a little bit to carry it for a while. In the mean time probably grab a 6 month rental in Nash to buy even more time to sell. Of course hoping our house does not stay on the market that long lol.

What do you think about the idea of waiting to list? Considering how sensitive the market is at the moment. At the moment we may list in the beginning of April.

Lots of things...

My wife just got a promotion that will relocate us from Pensacola to Nashville. We are super excited. Especially to become a part of the Nashville market.

However...

We just bought our first home in Pensacola not even a year ago (April 2018). We are looking to move this coming May.

We used an FHA of course and we do not have a lot in it. We would be lucky to break even if we sell.

Now that the Coronavirus spreading like crazy we would be lucky to sell at all right?

Our potential agent suggests that we wait to list at the beginning of April. Which I totally get. Our home is brand new (2016). We love it and has absolutely zero issues. Brand new subdivision in south Cantonment area.

We have contemplated keeping the house and renting it out. Of course we would not be close to the home. Additionally renting in Nash to buy us some time to sell the home here in Cantonment.

Any thoughts or suggestions for a situation like this. What would you do?

My wife and I are saving for a home coming August 2019. We are in the Pensacola FL area. What I local bank do you trust and why? Listening to the podcast a couple days ago suggested local banks so I am curious before we moved any further. Should we go ahead and open up an account with said bank if we find one to have a relationship with them? Thank you so much for your time. I would love to connect if any Pensacola networking meetings are happening soon as well.
