Hey Everyone,

Have a property that I'm looking to renovate and am new to the SD area, are there any contractors that people would recommend? We'll be reconfiguring the floor plan, renovating the kitchen/living room/baths, opening up exterior walls and likely adding a master suite/bath.  Looking for quality contractors that can come in and give estimates who are reliable on budget/timeline.  Thanks and happy new year!

Thanks @Doug H., is that mainly towards urban areas and the surrounding communities of SD or is it also affecting the vacation rental communities surrounding the area like Idyllwild, Lake arrowhead, big bear etc? We saw that the Town of Idyllwild was meeting to discuss a potential moratorium of STR permits in their 11/10 meeting (though can't find minutes from it yet), so perhaps??

We're investing in STR in the Southern California area (Idyllwild, Big Bear, Crestline area), does anyone have any broker recommendations or other people they'd recommend getting in touch with. Hey Anthony, can you explain the concept of the land trust and how that would work? Also is a land trust viewed negatively by a bank writing a loan (as they look at LLC's). Thanks
