Weehawken is still very cheap vs other areas near Manhattan such as Long Island, Brooklyn, Jersey City, Hoboken, etc.  Prices have moved a lot already for these places prob because of easy access via  train.   Weehawken pxs are still at the 2008 level and I think you can find value there.   I know you are not looking for waterfront homes but you can find some good deals because of all the new developments.   Henley on Hudson is still at its last phase and the existing units will be competing against the new ones.  But the big issue with Weehawken is that there's a tax reval coming...that's the big overhang.  Need to watch how that pans out.  Good luck.

am a big fan.  bed stuy has rows and rows of beautiful brownstones still at reasonable price.  think the area shd benefit from L line issue.
